About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in St. Louis, Missouri. I have a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis (2001) and have been working with adolescents, young adults and families for the past 24 years. I was an adolescent therapist and clinical administrator at Logos School for 12 years (2002-2014). Logos School is a private alternative placement for middle school and high school students learning to manage a variety of learning disabilities and behavioral disorders.

I have extensive experience treating Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, ODD, OCD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders using cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy strategies. Throughout my experience I have consistently identified why children and adolescents struggle in the academic environment, in peer relationships and family relationships. With accurate identification and an understanding of the adolescent’s perception, an effective treatment plan can be developed and implemented.

My therapeutic personality is founded in the client-centered approach and a strengths -based perspective. I believe everyone has a voice, and a right to feel heard. I strive to connect with you for the purpose of empowering you to be where you want to be emotionally, academically, & professionally. All of us deserve the outlet of nonjudgmental guidance to empower us to overcome life’s obstacles and attain personal aspirations. I will be honored and excited to begin this process with you. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email to discuss your interests further.
